I was just in touch with a colleague in Puerto Rico (I will be publishing his essay on Don Quixote in my publication Global Literary Theory soon) who told me that another Hurricane had shut off all electricity across the island for several days--that sounds horrible and I doubt it would be permitted to happen in a US state.
